We respect your personality rights. This also applies to the handling of personal data during your visit and use of this website. Therefore, we act in accordance with the data protection laws of the Federal Republic of Germany and the data protection regulations of the European Union. In the following, you will learn how we deal with your personal data and, in particular, which data we collect, process and use for what purposes.

  1. Scope of this Data Protection Policy
This Data Protection Policy applies to the use of the websites offered by WISJIF Agile Academyile Academy, which you can reach at www.wisjif.com (hereinafter referred to as "WISJIF Websites"). This Data Protection Policy is not applicable to other websites of WISJIF Agile Academy or to the websites of other service providers, to which the WISJIF Websites refer by means of a link.

  2. Personal Data
Personal data are any information concerning the personal or material circumstances of an identified or identifiable natural person. The basic personal date is your name. However, your gender, your date of birth, your address, your occupation, your e-mail address and your IP address are personal data as well provided that these data are associated with your name or we can assign them with the means at our disposal. On the other hand, non-personal data are those with which the determination of your actual identity is impossible or at least a considerable effort is required. This includes, for example, the aforementioned information if we receive it anonymously or under a pseudonym and, therefore, cannot assign them to any natural person.

  3. Principle of Anonymity
When using the WISJIF Websites, you remain anonymous, as long as you do not voluntarily provide us with personal data, by using our contact form, commenting on blog entries or placing an order (e. g., for the booking of a training event).

  4. Collection, Processing and Use of Personal Data
4.1 We automatically collect data on which IP address is assigned to your computer, which browser and which operating system you use, and which pages of the WISJIF Websites you are viewing. This data is stored on our web server only until you leave the WISJIF Websites again. An additional storage in log files does not take place.
4.2 In all other respects, we collect, process or use personal data from you only if you voluntarily make this available to us of your own accord and it is legally permitted or you have given your consent. We use the personal data provided by you exclusively to the purposes stated in this Data Protection Policy or explicitly agreed upon with you.
4.3 There is no transfer, sale or any other transmission of your personal data to third parties. This shall not apply if a transfer, sale or any other transmission is necessary for the execution of the communi-cated or agreed upon purposes (e. g., transfer of event participants’ data to print shops, hotels or logistic companies) and is permitted without consent under applicable data protection law or if you have expressly consented. For each event that WISJIF performs, WISJIF will create a participant list, in which the first name, last name, company and location of the registered participants will be printed. The participant list is made available to all participants of the event as part of the event documentation. Only participants, who give a clear affirmative consent, will be included in the list.

  5. Orders
5.1 For placing an order on the WISJIF Website, we need your first name, your last name, the company, the address, the billing address, if deviating, and the VAT-ID of the company for which you will place the order as well as your e-mail address. If you wish to book an event, we will also collect the name and e-mail address of the participants. When placing an order, your IP address as well as the date and time of the order will be stored in addition, in order to be able to provide evidence in case of misuse of the name or used e-mail address.
5.2 We collect, process and use the data listed in section 5.1 to enable the processing and execution of your order.
5.3 You can revoke your consent at any time according to the statutory provisions (for contact see section 14). We will continue to store your data thereafter as long as and to the extent that we are obliged to do so under the statutory duties to preserve records or if we still need your data to carry out or process an existing contractual relationship with you. Your data will be blocked for other purposes during this period.

  6. Blog
6.1 You can also actively participate in the WISJIF community through our blog by commenting on blog entries. In each case before activating the comment function on the blog, we ask your name and your e-mail address as required information. When commenting on the blog, your name, your e-mail address, your IP address as well as the date and time of the comment will be stored, in order to be able to provide evidence in case of misuse of the name or used e-mail address.
6.2 We collect, process and use your name and email address to provide you with the comment function on the blog. Without your consent, your name and your e-mail address you specify to use the comment function on the blog will not be used for any other purposes and it will not be disclosed to any third party.
6.3 We will store all comments in the blog for an unlimited period of time. We process and use your comments to make them accessible to all users of the WISJIF Websites. All comments are thus freely and publicly accessible on the Internet.
6.4 Provided that you have agreed to the transfer of your data to us as described above, you have made the following consent: "Yes, I would like to sign up with the WISJIF Agile Academy for the commentary function of the blog and, with respect thereto, I agree with the Data Protection Policy. I can at any time revoke this consent with effect for the future."
6.5 You can revoke your consent at any time according to the statutory provisions (for contact see section 14). We will continue to store your data thereafter as long as and to the extent that we are obliged to do so under the statutory duties to preserve records. Your data will be blocked for other purposes during this period. If you make use of your right of revocation, your comments on the blog remain unaffected; they will still be stored and made publicly accessible on the Internet.

  7. Contact Form
7.1 If you contact us via the contact form, you agree that we may process and use your communication with your given contact data for the purpose of answering and contacting you.
7.2 We will only process and use the data provided to process your message and to respond to it pro-vided that we do neither disclose your communication nor your contact data to any third party.
7.3 Provided that you have agreed to the transfer of your data via the contact form, you have made the following consent: "Yes, WISJIF Agile Academy may process and use my data entered above as well as my communication for the purpose of handling, contacting and responding and, with respect thereto, I agree with the Data Protection Policy. I may revoke this consent with effect for the future at any time."
7.4 You can revoke your consent at any time according to the statutory provisions (for contact see sec-tion 14). We will continue to store your data thereafter as long as and to the extent that we are obliged to do so under the statutory duties to preserve records or if we still need your data to carry out or process an existing contractual relationship with you. Your data will be blocked for other purposes during this period.

  8. Correction, Blocking and Deletion of Data
Under the applicable data protection law, we are obligated, on request, to correct, block or delete the data recorded on you. The correction, blocking or deletion of the data shall apply in such a case in accordance with the requirements pursuant to § 35 BDSG (German Federal Data Protection Act). To do this, please refer to the body indicated in section 14 below.

  9. Use of Cookies
9.1 On the WISJIF Websites, we use so-called cookies. These are small text files, which will be stored on your computer. Most of the cookies we use will be deleted from your hard disk after the end of the browser session (so-called “session cookies”). Other cookies remain on your computer and allow us to recognize your computer on your next visit (so-called "persistent cookies"). We do not use third-party cookies, which allow us to collect, process or use your personal data.
9.2  As soon as you visit the WISJIF Websites, you will be asked to agree to the use of cookies. Here you have the possibility to limit the use of cookies according to your personal preferences. By selecting "Details" you will also get an up-to-date and complete overview of the cookies we use. You can withdraw or change your consent to the use of cookies at any time (see 9.5). In order to use our website, however, you must at least agree to the use of "essential" cookies. These are cookies that are essential for the functioning of the website. In addition, you can also view and delete the stored cookies in the security settings of your browser at any time and restrict or prohibit the acceptance of cookies. Certain functions of the WISJIF website cannot be fully used after cookies have been rejected.
9.3 The content of the cookies will be encrypted in order to prevent third parties from gaining unauthor-ized access to the data contained therein.
9.4  Third-party cookies may be used without our express warning when we use services from third-party vendors (e. g. YouTube videos) on the WISJIF Websites or link third-party websites. You can always view, delete, and prohibit or restrict the acceptance of cookies in the security settings of your browser.

  10. Use of Social Media Plug-ins
We are currently not using social media plugins on the WISJIF Websites but only links to the relevant profile pages at the respective online services.

  11. iframes and Embedded Content
11.1 We use iframes (inline frames) on the WISJIF Websites to include embedded content of the following providers:
    •   Xing-Events: www.xing-events.com
    •   Twitter, www.twitter.com
    •   Vimeo, www.vimeo.com
    •   YouTube, www.youtube.com
11.2 When you visit a webpage of the WISJIF Websites containing one of the iframes mentioned above in section 11.1, your browser will establish a direct link to the provider's servers to transfer embedded content from there to your browser. This content will be integrated into the WISJIF Websites via the iframe so that it will be displayed as a kind of mini web page in the WISJIF Website you are visiting. You cannot see that, at this time, you are surfing on two websites simultaneously. The provider's In-ternet address will not be displayed. YouTube videos are recognizable by the typical red play button with white triangle, and vimeo videos by the typical blue play button with white triangle as well as by displaying the vimeo lettering.
11.3 The provider of the embedded content, which is displayed to you via the iframe, will be informed by the direct connection to your browser that you have visited the corresponding WISJIF Website. If you are at this time logged into your user account registered by the provider, the provider can assign your visit of the WISJIF Website to your user account there even if you do not click on the embedded content offered by the iframe (e. g., a YouTube video). If you decide to click and use the offered content, the provider will find out. Your browser then sends further usage data to the respective pro-vider which can be stored and reused by this provider
11.4 For further information on the purpose and scope of the data collection and its processing by the respective provider, please refer to the privacy statements of the provider on its website. The following websites are known to us in this respect:
    •    Xing-Events: https://privacy.xing.com/de/datenschutzerklaerung
    •    Twitter, https://twitter.com/privacy
    •    vimeo, https://vimeo.com/privacy
    •    YouTube, https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=en
There you can also find further information on your data privacy rights and settings for the protection of your privacy.

  12. Google Analytics
13.1 The WISJIF Websites use the Google Analytics web analytics service provided by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheater Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (“Google”). Google Analytics uses so-called cookies. These are text files that are stored on your computer and allow analyzing how you use the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website will normally be transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, in the case of the activation of the IP anonymization on the WISJIF Websites, your IP address will be previously abridged by Google within the Member States of the European Union or in other Contracting States of the Agree-ment on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be trans-ferred to a Google server in the USA and abridged there. On our behalf, Google will use this infor-mation to analyze how you use the WISJIF Websites, to compile reports on website activity, and to provide us with other services related to website and internet usage. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be amalgamated with other Google data. You can prevent the storage of cookies by customizing your browser software; however, we would point out that in this case you might not be able to fully exploit all functions of the WISJIF Websites. In addition, you can prevent Google from collecting the data created by the cookie with respect to your use of the WISJIF Websites (including your IP address), as well as the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available at the following link: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout can prevent the use of these cookies by changing your cookie preferences (see 9.5).
13.2 You can also prevent the collection of data by Google Analytics, which you create on the WISJIF Websites and which are stored in the cookie, by activating the link below. An opt-out cookie will be stored on your computer that prevents the future collection of your data when you visit the WISJIF Websites (but this does not apply to other websites that you visit and other browsers that you use on the same computer): Click here to opt-out-Google Analytics.  This alternative is particularly suitable for mobile devices. If you choose to do so, do not delete the opt-out cookie. Otherwise, you will lose the protection this opt-out cookie provides until you reinstall it.
13.3 Google Analytics has been extended on the WISJIF Websites by the code "anonymizeIp". The use of this code leads to an anonymous collection of your IP address by the so-called IP masking. The last octet of your IP address is set to zero from that. For IPv6 addresses, this affects the last 80 of the 128 bits. This is still done in the random access memory before the data is written to the hard disk (see also https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/2763052).
13.4  For further information on the purpose and scope of the data collection and its processing by Google Analytics, please refer to the privacy statements of Google on its website. The following websites are known to us in this respect:

  13. IT Security
We take various technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal data from loss and misuse. Your data is stored in a secure operating environment that is not accessible to the public. In certain cases, your personal data will be encrypted during transmission by the so-called Transport Layer Security (TLS) (formerly Secure Socket Layer Technology (SSL)). This means that the communication between your computer and the servers of the WISJIF Websites is done using a rec-ognized encryption method, which is deemed to be valid in the current version (currently TSL version 1.2, 128 bit). If your browser supports TSL, the transfer of personal data is protected by this feature. In this case, most browsers show you whether the security protocol is supported by a short dialog box or by a graphic symbol. You can find more information using the help of your browser.

  14. Right to Information and Contact
15.1 On request, we will inform you if and which personal data about you have been stored with us.
15.2  If you wish to assert your rights to information or if you have any questions about this Data Protection Policy or how we treat privacy issues on the WISJIF Websites, please contact:
